Köping Basket improved to 9-8 with a solid 86-80 win over Västerås in the Herrar Division 2 Svealand, Stockholm division Saturday, March 9 at Viksängsskolan in Västerås.
Köping broke open a 38-38 haltime tie in the third quarter outscoring Västerås 24-15 to take a 62-53 lead heading into the final period.
Västerås pulled out all the stops in the fourth quarter with a furious full court press but Köping held on for the win.
With the victory, Köping solidified fifth place in the league with one game left in the season.
